Shine Water is a water company with a goal to fight a global Vitamin D deficiency and quench thirst—without a single grain of sugar, fake flavor, or bubbly burp. In 2026, Shine Water is partnering with Alaffia and GACE to fund a deep water well in ZorkoAtiabiisi, a village of 900 people in the Bongo district in north east Ghana. Existing water sources are insufficient to meet the water needs of the community, resulting in overcrowding, long queues, and extended waiting times. Due to the limited availability of water, residents are compelled to walk long distances ranging from 500 meters to 1 burden on households, particularly women and children. The additional water source will ensure adequate and reliable access to safe water for years to come.
